Wits Corporate Breakfast

Body:

The Wits Corporate Breakfast is an annual event that provides members with an opportunity to network with companies and potential employers under the tree shade at Roedean School over a three course breakfast meal. The Wits Golden Key chapter has put in a lot of hard work and effort and Golden Key South Africa wants to thank them for another successful event. High profile companies are invited to join which allow Golden Key members and employers to engage in conversations that touch on future career perspectives, international opportunities and future employment processes. McKinsey & Company and Bowman Gills attended and informed attendees about potential employees, graduate programmes and shared some valuable tips when being interviewed.

Golden Key staff, Charlene Gunter and Hope Khoza, and Chapter Advisor, Mrs Lamese Abrahams attended. Puso, Vice-President did the welcoming and closing remarks. Ms Gunter delivered the Welcoming address on behalf of Golden Key International Honour Society whilst the attendees enjoyed the mouthwatering muesli and yoghurt with a touch of honey, freshly baked scones, muffins and croissants, fruit juice, coffee and tea. Ms Abrahams informed attendees about future events after which a hot breakfast was served with eggs, bacon strips, sausages, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms and many other delicious bites.

A representative from McKinsey & Co., a Golden Key Corporate Partner, addressed all present about his career path and how McKinsey impacted his life. Throughout the proceedings the representatives from the companies moved from one table to another networking with the cream of the crop.

It was a wonderful morning and we want to the chapter as a whole for your ongoing commitment towards Golden Key. The breakfast was insightful and equipped students with the necessary tools and direction they need to spearhead their futures.
