UCT Chapter Activities - Get Involved
This is the list of Community Development Projects for 2012:
- Book Drive : we collect books and donate them to Garlandale school in Athlone.
- Mentorship Programme: Mentor high school learners.
- Feed A Home: Providing food to the less fortunate.
- Volunteer to Build Houses: Partnering with Habitat for Humanity -UCT
- Clothing Drive: collect clothes and donate them to a home
- Tutoring Sessions: Tutor high school learners in Garlandale
- Red Cross Easter Event: celebrate easter with the children and giving them sweets(and easter eggs)
- Tree Planting: To partner with Greenpop and plant trees
- Red Cross Project- Friends of the Children: volunteer by playing with the children in the hospital http://www.friendsofthechildrenshospital.blogspot.com/
