On Sunday, 6th November 2011 Peggy-Sue Khumallo, former Miss South Africa (1996) and Honorary Member of Golden Key ran her second Soweto Marathon to once again raise funds for LITTLE EDEN. Golden Key supports community engagement initiatives as "Service" is one of the Society's pillars.
The marathon is 42.2km and Ms Khumalo went for the full length. We want to support her effort and therefore extend a humble request that you, as a Golden Key member, sponsor her per kilometer finished.
She has chosen a charity that is close to her heart called LITTLE EDEN and you can donate any amount to this charity. According Ms Khumalo "LITTLE EDEN Society is a special place where we care for 300 children and adults who have profound intellectual disability. It is the permanent home to 300 residents, 230 of whom were abandoned or come from indigent families that are unable to support them. Some are HIV positive or
affected with AIDS. Your donation and support will make a huge difference in the lives of LITTLE EDEN children".
You can donate all proceeds directly to LITTLE EDEN's bank account and email confirmation of payment to Adele Lacob. The details are listed below:

"I attended a Golden Key Function at Tukkies last year. It was truly inspirational to see the students (and their parents) express huge pride in being selected to be members of Golden Key. It is a wonderful prize for a combination of hard work and talent.”
