The topic was 'A comparative analysis of race relations in RSA vs USA'. Dr. Carol Rogers, Fulbright Scholar to the Faculty of Education for 2011, and Mr. Allan Zinn, Director: Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy, provided insights on BEE and race-related issues. A young girl said in the midst of all the discussion that "we need to first accept who we are before others can and we must embrace our culture and differences so we can move forward."
