The University of Stellenbosch and the University of Cape Town Golden Key South African chapters have joined in efforts to support the Pedaling for Peddie project. Kidzpositive Family Fund and Keiskamma Trust will be riding 1000km from Hamburg, Eastern Cape to Cape Town to connect the needs of a rural service with resources. This will demonstrate solidarity between non-profit organisations that work to foster hope for the most vulnerable, strive to address widespread poverty and disease and raise support for the daily needs of children and families affected by HIV/Aids.
“The concept of sensitizing the top 15% of achievers toward social responsibility is a humane concept. These individuals are the decision makers of the future. Golden Key infuses morality, a balanced approach between individual ambitions and corporate social responsibility and prepares these top performers to act in the interest of all humanity. Practical experience during the student years infuses that spirit of compassion and caring in these future statesmen of our continent.”
