The Golden Key Stellenbosch Chapter hosted a three-tier event together with McKinsey and Company on Thursday evening, the 4thof August. It entailed one of the consultants, Felix Faulhaber, of McKinsey and Company drafting to everyone what “A Day in the Life of a consultant” is like. McKinsey and Company is a global management consulting firm, who are the trusted advisor to the world's leading businesses, governments, and institutions. The second tier of the evening involved Ingrid Hamman presenting a short CV Writing Workshop in which she explained the importance of a knock-out CV when applying anywhere, especially to this dynamic firm. The last tier of the three-tier evening involved delicious, free finger food as well as non-alcoholic drinks for everyone who attended, which was a perfect ending to a great evening.
Despite the tempestuous weather, the evening was a great success with 67 students and even some young professionals from Stellenbosch attending the workshop. The positive responses the GK committee received were overwhelming, with members keen for more workshops to help them unlock their full potential!

“The concept of sensitizing the top 15% of achievers toward social responsibility is a humane concept. These individuals are the decision makers of the future. Golden Key infuses morality, a balanced approach between individual ambitions and corporate social responsibility and prepares these top performers to act in the interest of all humanity. Practical experience during the student years infuses that spirit of compassion and caring in these future statesmen of our continent.”
