UNIVERSITY OF KWAZULU-NATAL
The university’s mission is to be a truly South African university that is academically excellent, innovative in research, critically engaged with society and demographically representative, redressing the disadvantages, inequities and imbalances of the past.
As a result of the merger between the former University of Natal (where Golden Key was initially chartered) and the former University of Durban-Westville, a new University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) Golden Key chapter came into being in 2004. These institutional changes necessitated a unique chapter structure that incorporates all five campuses .
