The NWU – Potchefstroom Chapter joined more than one thousand people who took a stand, or rather a walk, against cancer in remembrance of those who have passed as a result of cancer. The CANSA Relay event took place on 14 March 2009, 70 teams participated of which GKIHS NWU-Potchefstroom was one. Sporadic rain was no match for our team as we marched on against cancer.

The Networking Finance Breakfast hosted by one of Golden Key’s Corporate Partners, Procter&Gamble on Saturday, 7 February 2009, was a huge success.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the networking breakfast. It was such an enriching experience to have the opportunity to learn about the diversity of P&G as well as meet and talk to the people who actually work there. I wasn’t aware of how many career opportunities were available within the company and the breakfast really opened my eyes to new possibilities.” - Keisha-Leigh Meyer, Golden Key UP Member
“The P&G breakfast to me was informative, professional and well presented, I learned a lot and enjoyed the feel of the company and its employees. It seems like an awesome place to work! Thank you for making it possible.” - Martin Koch, Golden Key Wits Member
